The equipment used in ice hockey is a Hockey puck, hockey stick, hockey skates, shin pads, shoulder pads, hockey gloves, hockey helmet, elbow pads, jock or jill, hockey socks, hockey shorts, neck guard, and mouthguard. There are five lines on the ice, two goal lines, two blue lines, separating the offensive/defensive zones from the neutral zone, and the center red line. The red line is not in play when making stretch passes. Before the NHL lockout in the 2004-05 seasons, players could not make two lined passes; resulted in offside.

Ice Hockey
Ice Hockey is a team sport played on ice. Two teams of ice skaters hit a small puck around with a stick. The object is to get the puck in the opposing teams net. There are six people on each team. They also have a goal tender. The goal tender tries to keep the puck from going into the goal.
